As fall closes in and new routines embark, we can find comfort in the fact that there some new food spots that came to town. Add a fun date night or lunch to your calendar cause here are our top picks for new Miami restaurants that opened in June and July.


Delicious Raw

With five prior successful locations, Delicious Raw opened their newest location in Sunset Harbor, Miami Beach. Healthy eating is always intriguing but Delicious Raw consistently prioritizes health while still delivering a delicious menu. Their Miami Beach location is a great addition to the neighborhood and the perfect spot to continue their legacy, as Sunset Harbor continues to emerge as a health hub offering a plethora of fitness possibilities like Barry’s Bootcamp and Sweat440 in addition to the local health-focused cuisine such as Dirt and Dr. Smood.

Il Giardino

Complementing the European vibe that characterizes the Mr.C Coconut Grove Hotel, Il Giardino recently opened inside the hotel. Complete with a European-styled garden, the new restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in addition to a happy hour. This restaurant opening is only the beginning of an exciting transformation of the surrounding area of Coconut Grove. Highlighting the prime real estate spaces are the CocoWalk area presently in the process of developing new hotels, shops and restaurants. OLA

Originally debuted in 2003 at the Sanctuary Hotel in Miami Beach, but after Hurricane Irma OLA was forced to temporarily relocate to Miami Beach’s SoFi neighborhood – but now has a permanent home at the Gates Hotel in South Beach. Specialty mojitos, renowned ceviche, OLA touts itself as “a culinary journey unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.” Considering the lush and trendy vibe that forever personifies South Beach, OLA’s relocation is sure to further enhance Collins Ave with their chic culinary skills. You can find OLA inside of the Gates Hotel at 2360 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

PLANET 57

With more than 12 successful pizza restaurants in Puerto Rico, Planet 57’s entrance to South Miami is warmly welcomed. The restaurant combines the best of pizza, Italian, and Puerto Rican food in one culinary gem. The family oriented restaurant is equipped with a fully stocked bar, and has already scheduled a series of events from Latin dance parties to college football kickoffs. Stop by their new spot at 723 Lincoln Lane, Miami Beach.


Smoke’d at the Lincoln Eatery

The first kosher barbeque establishment in Miami Beach has arrived. Smoke’d offers everything from brisket that has been smoked for 18 hours to Texas styled half chicken to vegan beyond burgers, so it’s safe to say that they offer more than enough to fill anyone and everyone’s appetite.

Located inside the Lincoln Eatery on Lincoln Road, Smoke’d is surrounded by plenty of distinguished concepts and kitchens, yet it has already set itself apart as a unique and delicious destination.

Caja Caliente

Starting as a small food truck, this taco concept has truly grown into their second beautiful location in Coral Gables. As Coral Gables continues to grow their culinary venues, Caja Caliente is a perfect addition. Seriously, who doesn’t love tacos? Taste them all at their new location at 808 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables
